Most don’t know that Marilyn Monroe (1926–1962) was a diligent note-taker, which inspired these take-along mini notebooks featuring photos by Milton H. Greene (1922–1985). Perhaps more than any other photographer, Greene was able to reveal rarely seen facets of the Monroe mystique beyond mere glamour and beauty. Quickly becoming a close confidant and advisor, Greene would also serve as her producing partner and Vice President of Marilyn Monroe Productions, which produced her films Bus Stop and The Prince and The Showgirl. Set of 4 notebooks, each with an iconic four-color Monroe image taken by Greene between 1953 and 1956.
– Set of 4 notebooks, one each of Ruled, Grid, Dot Grid and Blank
– 4 iconic Milton Greene cover images: Grey Fur/Straw Hat (1956), At Schenck House (1953), Mandolin (1953) and Bus Stop On Location (1956)
– 48 pages in each
– Archive-quality 90-gsm paper
– Saddle-stitched binding
– 3 1/2W x 5 1/2H (closed); 7W (open)
